Aylesham Community Trust (ACT) is a local charity based in the rapidly growing village of Aylesham at the heart of the ex-industrial area of the Kent Coal Fields.

We are a Registered Charity and our Charitable Aims include the provision of community services and delivering access to training and employment opportunities. Our services currently include:

• The Old School Coffee Shop & Kitchen
• The Kent Coalfield Community Grant Fund in collaboration with The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (a national level charity).
• The Community HQ. Our package of practical and easy to access support that is available to voluntary and community groups based in Aylesham.
• Spaces for hire and/or let to deliver events, conferencing and for meetings with or without catering
• Purpose built office spaces and light industrial units in a pleasant Business Park environment

In 2023 our Trustees agreed an ambitious programme of growth and change. Working with some brilliant partners our plans will unlock new types of support and opportunities for the people of Aylesham and the surrounding area and the wider Kent Coalfield.
